Everyday Prophets is dance music with depth. Take a reggae foundation and twist it with modern breakbeat, dancehall, and rock and out comes a fresh sound for a new time.
Based in Portland Oregon, Everyday Prophets is a five-piece band that has provided conscious dance music to the Northwest since 2002. With two studio albums and one live double-disc release, the Prophets draw from nearly sixty original songs for live performances

Sail for the Cure
When: September 28, 2008
An OWSA benefit for the Oregon & Southwest Washington affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, is our way of giving back to the community—combining sailing, support, & encouragement all in one great event. A fun event for the entire family that emphasizes boat-handling skills and cooperation rather than competition. We welcome everyone from non-sailors to expert sailors, male or female, boat owners & non-boat owners. Event includes a sail, dinner, and auctions.

Sail for the Cure is OWSA's way of giving back to the community in which we live. OWSA has partnered with the Komen Foundation for 8 years in the fight against breast cancer. Cristina Moore Development Director for the Komen Foundation will join us June 11th to share how the dollars we helped raise have been used in our community. You will be proud and inspired!
